Playa Jibacoa beach

Playa Jibacoa is a a series of beaches in the north of Cuba located between Havana and Varadero. The beaches are not very good by the standards of Cuba, but diving and snorkeling are great. The area is popular among locals. Shore and seabed: sand, rocks. [edit]

There are few good hotels near the beach, including the Superclub Breezes - one of the first hotels opened in socialist Cuba.

Fly to Havana Airport (HAV) or fly to Varadero Airport (VRA). Next hire a taxi.

The best time for a beach holiday in the northern Cuba is a warm summer half of the year.
