Hotels [edit]

Besides some hotels presented in reservation systems, there are also few inexpensive guesthouses in Las Galeras town. Therefore, there's no sense to book accommodation in advance (except Christmas dates).

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Santo Domingo International Airport (SDQ) or to Puerto Plata International Airport (POP). Then ride by bus to Samana town. Next by "gua-gua" shuttle bus to Las Galeras town. Ask locals how to get to Playa La Playita beach.

When to go [edit]

Any time of year. Summer is rainy, but sea water is warm. In winter, weather is reversed comparing to summer.
