Playa Manzanillo beach

Playa Manzanillo is a small beach in a sheltered bay located within a walking distance from the airport of Puerto Escondido, Mexico. The beach in the west side of the bay is called Puerto Angelito. This is a great place to swim. There are beautiful views of the hills, sand is pleasant, many palms, while entry into the water is comfortable and without waves. There are always a lot of locals during the weekends, but it's quite ok outside the peak dates. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Not far from the beach, there are several hotels with rooms' fares ranging from US$20 to US$200 per night. This is a great spot to spend the night before your flight from the airport, as well as to hang out for a month. There is a supermarket nearby, so you don't have to spend money on cafes.

Fly to Puerto Escondido airport (PXM). Next get by taxi or by shuttle minibus.

When to go [edit]

Feel free to relax on the beach of Playa Manzanillo any time of year. Summertime features warmer sea water, while it's less rainy and not so hot in winter.
