Playa Maroma is a beach on the Caribbean coast of Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The place is beautiful and secluded being great for those wishing to escape from the crowds of Cancun or Playa del Carmen. There is a jungle near the beach, so pretty little animals often can be seen everywhere. On the other hand, there are usually a lot of mosquitoes in the hotel. The hotel should work harder on smoking the territory against the mosquitoes, or epidemy of tropical diseases may occur one day. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Catalonia Playa Maroma - All Inclusive is a five-star resort with rooms' fares starting from US$160 per night. This is a good option for the money. But if you are looking for the real luxury, you should better look for another hotel.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Cancun airport (CUN). Then take a bus to Playa del Carmen. We recommend 1st class, as a second-class coaches have a lot of negative reviews.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a holiday on the beaches of Yucatan Peninsula is a dry season from November to April. However, summer half of the year is also good enough, since there are no crowds of tourists, and sea water is warmer.
