It's better to book a hotel in advance if you plan your vacation at high season (end of summer and Christmas holiday). All other times, reservation is not reqired.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Margarita airport (PMV). Or fly to Caracas airport (CCS), and then sail to the island by ferry. Ferries depart from piers of Puerto La Cruz and Cumaná towns. Or from La Guaira pier of Caracas city.

When to go [edit]

Any time of year. Most rains are in July and August, but even these months are full of sunshine.
