Playa Punta Brava is a popular beach in
Morrocoy, Venezuela. This is the only place in the National Park, which can be reached by car or even walking on your own. There is a parking lot, a restaurant, and rental of umbrellas and sun loungers. It is always crowdy, especially on the weekends. North island's beaches sometimes referred as
Playa El Coco 3 and
Punta Suanchez. Shore and seabed: sand.

According to unconfirmed reports, in Playa Punta Brava you can spend a night in your own tent. However, the best is to find a hotel in Tucacas.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Caracas international airport (CCS) and get by bus to Tucacas (via Puerto Cabello). Next drive via the bridge connecting Tucacas and Playa Punta Brava. There is a small entrance fee taken for every car trying to get to the National Park.

The best time to relax on Playa Punta Brava beach is a relatively cool winter half of the year.
