Playa Racine beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Playa Racine is a wild beach on the eastern edge of Montevideo, Uruguay. It is also known as
Parador Mónaco. Beach is located near Roosevelt Park, while Carrasco Creek flows in the west. This is the reason why it turned out to be great oasis of wild nature surrounded by a big city. There are usually just a few people. But still, there is always someone around. Sea water near the shore is shallow. So it is a suitable place for swimming with small children. Shore and seabed: sand.
