Playa Rancho Luna beach

Playa Rancho Luna is a beach near the town of Cienfuegos in the south of Cuba. The beach is quite ordinary, but Cienfuegos is a nice authentic Cuban town, worth a visit along with Havana and Trinidad. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

There are few reasonably priced hotels by the beach. Just to the north in Cienfuegos you may also find an excellent choice of hotels to suit every taste and budget.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Havana Airport (HAV), or fly to Varadero Airport (VRA), or fly to Santa Clara Airport (SNU). Next get to Cienfuegos by taxi or by Viazul bus. The beach of Rancho Luna can be reached by bus or by taxi.

When to go [edit]

The beach season lasts all year round in the Southern Cuba. Moreover, the summer rainy season is not so heavy as in the most of Caribbean islands.
