Playa Travesia beach

Playa Travesia is a beach in the western suburbs of Barrio Travesia town, Honduras. There are a lot of scenic palms. The place is relatively clean, - especially near cafes. Most visitors are locals coming here in large groups to sit in one of these cafes. However, it is still possible just to lay in the shade of palm - with good view of the sea. Shore and seabed: sand. There are no hotels right near the beach of Playa Travesia. However, there are several hotels in Travesia town, as well as in Puerto Cortés major town. Rooms' rates start from US$50 per night.

The best time for a beach holiday on the Caribbean coast of Honduras is a dry season from March to August.
