Plazhi-i-Bardhe beach

Plazhi-i-Bardhe is a wild beach located to the south of popular Golem resort town, Albania. There is also a camping site developing this place. Please note, that they have fresh water. In Albania, this is very important for car travelers. Swimming is usually comfortable, though sea water is not quite clear. There are hills around with great hiking. Unfortunately, there are no trees. However, camping has planted many young trees. So it will get much better in the future. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Plazhi i Bardhe is a private camping with price tag starting from 20 euros per night - for two people. They have everything one might need including a decent restaurant. The campsite is new. So it's not crowded, while the service is excellent.

Fly to Tirana international airport (TIA). Next take a taxi or get by bus.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Albania is a warm period from June to September.
