Pointe Au Sel beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Pointe Au Sel is a beach in the east of
Mahe island, Seychelles. The beach is beautiful, but suffers from the problem of strong low tides. As for the high tide, everything is good enough. The depth is acceptable, the water is warm, and there are no waves. There is also good snorkeling in shallow water. But the swimming is impossible during the low tide. It is also hard to walk to the depth. In addition, there is a road with heavy traffic not far from the beach. So this is a good spot to stay for one or two nights, but it is not suitable for a long stay. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
