Port Glaud Lagoon beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Port Glaud Lagoon is a beach in the southwest of
Mahe island, Seychelles. As the name suggests, there is a real lagoon here. Unfortunately, this is not a true tropical paradise. Of course, it's not so bad. There are many trees ashore, the sand is white, and there are no strong waves. The problem is that the bottom is rocky almost everywhere, while the landscapes are quite mediocre by the standards of Seychelles. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
There are several hotels within a walking distance of Port Glaud Lagoon. However, these are poorly presented in the international booking systems. The most famous property is
Villas de Jardin.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Seychelles international airport (SEZ). Next hire a taxi.
There are also cheap shuttle buses on the island with a lot of routes. Keep in mind, that often you have to change bus in the capital city of
Victoria to get from one side of the island to another.
When to go [edit]
It is good to travel to Seychelles any time of the year. The nature is more beautiful in the rainy season from October to April, while the dry season will give you more sunny days.
