Porto Santa Margherita is a beach in the east of Veneto region of Italy. It is easy to get to Venice by bus, since the distance is not very long. There is a marina near the beach, as well as shops and cafes. The beach itself is rather mediocre, but still not so bad. There are many trees in occasional areas, but not right on the beach. The place usually overcrowded during the high season. Shore and seabed: sand.

In Porto Santa Margherita, hotels rooms start from US$150, while apartments start from US$300 per night. Some hotels have their own beach areas. But there are still no real beachfront resorts. You'll have to pay for sunbeds anyway.

Verona airport (VRN). Next get by taxi or by bus.
