Praia Cabana beach

Praia Cabana is a great beach in the south of San Tome island. The beach is almost wild - except for Restaurante Salutar (Ney) Praia Cabana. Restaurant looks quite basic, but the food is delicious. The entire coastline is beautiful - with trees and palms. Sea bottom is rocky in the east (near the restaurant). The best swimming area is in the center of the beach. Road to the beach is hard. Hotels [edit]

There are no hotels right near the beach of Praia Cabana. However, in the south end of the island, there are several good hotels with rooms' fares starting from US$100 per night. N`Guembú Nature Resort is the only hotel located within a walking distance from Praia Cabana.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Sao Tome international airport (TMS). Next hire a taxi. There is also public transport on the island, but the bus routes are not convenient for tourists in most cases.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Sao Tome and Principe is a dry season from June to September. Unfortunately, sea water is relatively cold during this period.
