How to get there [edit]

Fly to Lima International Airport (LIM). Next get to Trujillo town: by plane ($80, 1 hour) or by bus ($10-30, 8 hours). Next get to Puerto Chicama by taxi or by bus.

When to go [edit]

The best time for surfing in Peru is a period from June to September, though sea water is cold this time.
