Puerto Velero beach
Ultimate guide (April 2025)
Puerto Velero is a beach in the western suburbs of Barranquilla, Colombia. It is almost a closed lagoon. So there are no waves, nor algae. Unfortunately, the beach is still rather mediocre. Sand is dark, sea water is muddy. There are also no trees near the coastline. For unknown reason, it is a popular kite spot. Shore and seabed: sand.
