Penna Grossa beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Penna Grossa is a great white sand beach on the Adriatic coast of Apulia, Italy. To be honest, there is nothing extraordinary, - just a comfortable coastline without crowds of tourists. In fact, this is rather a series of various bays with clear water and dunes. If you prefer some comfort, sunbeds/parasols rental is also available. In the water, there are both sandy areas, as well as areas with a rocky bottom. So it is possible to swim and to snorkel almost everywhere. But of course, there is no such a variety of marine life like in the Red Sea. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
