Punta Prosciutto beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Punta Prosciutto is a popular beach on the Ionian coast of Apulia. It is almost as beautiful as Sardinia. The water is perfectly clear on the shallows, while there are beautiful dunes around with white sand. There are both wild areas, as well as private consessions with hire of sunbeds and umbrellas. Unfortunately, the place is overcrowded in August - with a lot of garbage everywhere, and everything is very expensive. As for the rest of time, this is a perfect destination to relax. Shore and seabed: sand.
