Punta Sal is a National park on the Caribbean coast of Honduras. You can get here by boat from Tela or just walk from
Rio Tinto. Most boats arrive to
Playa Cocalito beach being the most beautiful and the most popular one. It also has a cafe. Good swimming areas can also be found in the bay of
Puerto Escondido, as well as in the east side of the isthmus - on
Playa La Bolsa beach. These two beaches are located 100 meters from each other. So you can choose the best spot at the moment. Please note, that all beaches on the east coast suffer from invasion of algae. However, this is not a real problem in this sector of the Caribbean. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
