Qamea island

Qamea is an island with excellent beaches to the east of Taveuni island in Fiji. It is also known for mass migration of crabs in late November - early December. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

The island has two hotels: cheap (Maqai Resort) and expensive (Qamea Resort & SPA). Both have good beaches.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Nadi International Airport (NAN). Next, get to the island of Taveuni (see. here for details). Next take a boat from Tuvununu pier ($50 to Qamea island and back).

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in the island of Taveuni is a dry season from May to November.
