Qingshuiwan beach

Qingshuiwan is a beach in the south-east of Hainan island, China. There are many palms ashore. But since the beach is very long, some coastal areas are good, while some other areas are not so good. However, you can always walk to the left or to the right. In addition, the beach is affected by the problem of strong low tides. So before the trip, it is worth to check with the tide calendar. How to get there [edit]

Fly to Sanya international airport (SYX). Then hire a taxi. Or you may also fly to Haikou international airport (HAK). But it is located in the north of the island - far from most tourist attractions. You can move around the island by buses. But it can be hard to understand how local transport is operating.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in the south-west of China is April and October-November. The main problem is that the summer is a rainy season (from May to September), while it is too cold in winter (from December to March).
