Rakeedhoo island

Rakeedhoo is a local island in the atoll of Vaavu, Maldives. The island is overdeveloped, and only a small stretch of coast has trees. But the worst thing is about bikini beach. How to get there [edit]

Fly to Male international airport (MLE). Next get to Fulidhoo island by MTCC ferry - route 310. It takes 3 hours 25 minutes, ticket price is about US$5 per way:

- departure from Male at 10:00 on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday;

- departure from Fulidhoo island at 11:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Next take ferry #309 to Rakeedhoo island. Ferry takes 3 hours 50 minutes per way, and runs every day except Friday:

- departure from Fulidhoo island at 13:45;

- departure from Rakeedhoo island at 7:00.
