Ramberg is a popular beach in the
Lofoten group, Norway. The sand is almost as white as in the Caribbean. But it's very cold, so the swimming is hard. Most people can only wet their feet. But anyway the place is beautiful - with mountains and pastoral landscapes. This is a great spot for hiking, as well as to make good photos! Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
The village in the south end of the beach may offer several decent hotels with rooms' rates starting from US$100 per night. Near the beach, there is also a car campsite with standard set of services and prices for Norway.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Oslo international airport (OSL), next fly to
Narvik Airport (EVE). It is best to rent a car to explore Lofoten islands.
However, it is also possible to get here by the public transport, since Ramberg beach is located near E10 highway.
When to go [edit]
If you plan to swim, the only relatively good time to relax on the Ramberg beach is August. The water is still cold, but it's relatively warmed up on the shallows. As for the rest of the year, it is good as well, but only for romantic promenade in a dramatic decorations :)
