Ras El-Bar beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Ras El-Bar is a beach on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt. Breakwaters protect from strong waves, while there are relatively small buildings near the sea. That's all about good things. The rest information is about problems. Sea water is muddy. The spot is overcrowded during the high season. In addition, this is a purely "local" beach. So women can only swim in Islamic bathing suits, since no bikini allowed. Shore and seabed: sand.
