Rasdhoo beach

Rasdhoo is a local island in the North Ari atoll, Maldives. Bikini beach is rather mediocre with bad entry into the water. But not far from the island there is a reef with sandbank and beautiful lagoon (daily tour is US$75 per person including meals, or after bargaining US$30 without meals). Shore and seabed: sand. Hotels [edit]

There are more than ten hotels on the island of Rasdoo. The room's rate is about US$100 per night after all fees and taxes applied.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Male international airport (MLE). Next take MTCC ferry - route 304. It takes 3 hours 10 minutes and ticket price is about US$5 per way:

- departure from Male at 9:00 on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday;

- departure back from Rasdhoo island at 11:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

There is also public speedboat operating every day except Friday. One way takes 1 hour 10 minutes only for US$45 per person. Departure from Male at 15:45, from Rasdhoo - at 7:30.

At Friday the only transportation option between Male and Rasdhoo island is a private speedboat from US$500 for the boat (up to 18 persons).

The best time to travel to the beaches of Rasdhoo island in the Maldives is a dry season from January to April.
