Rimatuu-Tahuna island

Rimatuu-Tahuna is the only motu (islet) in Tetiaroa atoll (French Polynesia), where independent boat tours from Tahiti are possible. So you won't have to stay at The Brando resort. These are several small islets and sandbanks. Perfect tropical escape awaits you on the islets, but swimming is mostly uncomfortable due to the coral bottom. On the other hand, the swimming is good on the sandbanks. This excursion is quite like a tour over the lagoon of Aitutaki atoll, - if for some reason you don't have opportunity to visit Cook Islands. There are no hotels on the islets of Rimatuu and Tahuna. The nearest hotel in Tetiaroa atoll is very expensive (The Brando Resort). In Tahiti island, there are also many hotels for every budget. But, unfortunately, it is located far from Tetiaroa.
