Rio Coto beach

Rio Coto is a beach in the west end of Omoa town being a major resort destination in Honduras. This is not the best beach in the Caribbean, since it's extremely low key. However, there are many trees and palms ashore, while entry into the water is mostly sandy and comfortable. In addition, there are usually not too many visitors here. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. Hotels [edit]

Comidas Adelita is the most remarkable hotel on the coast. This is probably not the most luxury property, but their beach is the best in the area.

The best time for a beach holiday on the Caribbean coast of Honduras is a dry season from March to August.
