Riyue Bay beach

Riyue Bay (Riyuewan) is the best surfer beach on the east coast of Hainan Island in China. Good wave attracts surfers from all around the world, while beautiful coastline with palms is perfect for sunbathers. How to get there [edit]

Fly to Sanya international airport (SYX) or fly to Haikou international airport (HAK). Next take a bus in the direction of Wanning town.

When to go [edit]

The best time for surfing in the island of Hainan are summer and winter, when the waves are the strongest. However, summer time features warm sea water, while it is cold in the winter.
