Safana beach

Safana is a wild beach in the north of Sumbawa island, Indonesia. The beach is rather mediocre by the island's standards. But it is still the best in the district. The swimming is not comfortable due to the rocky bottom. But the snorkeling is good for the same reason :) This is a great spot for an exclusive family picnic. Since it is possible to get here only by irregular treks. So there is not a living soul most of time. Shore and seabed: pebbles, sand. [edit]

There are no hotels directly near the beach of Safana. Homestay SUKSES Tambora is the nearest hotel. It is located 3 km to the south.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bima airport (BMU). Next get by taxi.

The best time to relax on the beaches of Sumbawa island is a dry season from April to October.
