Sairee beach

Sairee is the longest and most popular beach on Koh Tao island in Thailand, with bars and discos. There are palms and comfortable entry into the water, as well as good snorkeling at some distance from the coast. During the low tide the water becomes very shallow. Probably, the beach is too developed with a lot of boats, but still it is very good. This is also a great place to meet sunset. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bangkok international airport (BKK). Take Lomprayah's package, including bus to Chumphon, and next catamaran to Koh Tao. To move around the island you may just walk on your own, take a tuk-tuk or hire a taxi boat.

The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Koh Tao is a dry season from late December to September.
