San Nicola Arcella is a beach in the north of Calabria, Italy. The coast is pretty nice - with a good view of the mountains, and even with an ancient tower of
Torre Crawford in the south. However, the main attraction is the arch of
Grotta dell'Arco Magno located just to the north (also known as
Grotta del Saraceno). It is possible to walk there, but it makes sense to hire a boat, as you will see the grotto from the sea. The place is popular, so in the high season, there are a lot of people on both beaches. Shore and seabed: pebble.
