Hotels [edit]
The town has a huge number of budget guesthouses. Please note, that you don't have to hire a room just near the beach, as the most remote areas of the village are within a 15-minute walk from the beach.
How to get there [edit]
Trapani International Airport (TPS) is only 20 km from San Vito Lo Capo. In most cases this is an excellent choice, as Trapani is a regional hub for Ryanair lowcost airline.
There is also
Palermo Airport (PMO), which gets much more international flights. In this case, you will pay more for a taxi to the beach, but you will have a chance to visit beautiful Palermo town.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in San Vito Lo Capo is a hot period from July to September. This time sea water is warmed up to a comfortable 25-26 degrees of Celsius (shallow water is much hotter).
