Santa Monica beach

Santa Monica is the easternmost beach of Molise region in Italy. The west side features Pineta di Vallona forest, next we meet the beach of Spiaggia di Vallona, and further away to the east - the beach of Spiaggia di Ramitelli. Breakwaters protect against strong waves, while the place is usually not overcrowded - thus being is good enough in all respects. But there are also some downsides. There are almost no hotels near Santa Monica beach. However, a little to the west, the choice of accommodation options is good enough.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Pescara airport (PSR). Get by the local train to Campomarino station, and walk a little to the east - along the coastline.

The best time for a beach holiday in Santa Monica is a warm period from July to September.
