Santa Veronica beach

Santa Veronica is a popular beach to the southwest of Barranquilla in Colombia. This is not the most beautiful resort in the region, but it's Ok for a daytrip with a big company. The sand is light, and there are a lot of cheap cafes under the palm trees. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Cabana Marajema is the only hotel near the beach (room from US$100 per night). However, just to the north (where there is no good beach) there are a lot of hotels - including some budget options.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Cartagena international airport (CTG). Next take any bus following along the coast in the direction of Barranquilla.

When to go [edit]

It is good to visit the beach of Santa Veronica in Colombia all year round, except for a small rainy season in September and October.
