Senggigi is a fishing village in the west of
Lombok Island, Indonesia. In a contrast to the southern Lombok, the sand is dark, and the water is shallow without waves. There are a lot of bars and shops everywhere. The central beach near the pier is not very good, as many boats spoil the view and make it hard to walk along the shore. In addition, there is a lot of garbage everywhere, except for the area in front of big resorts. However, there are good coastal areas around, - for example,
Coco Beach located a little to the north. Shore and seabed: sand.
