Sete Ondas beach

Sete Ondas is a beach in the east of Sao Tome island. The beach is almost wild and very beautiful. However, there is a bar with some amenities - including sunbeds. There are many trees and palms giving a lot of shade. The swimming is comfortable - without strong waves most of time. But when the wind is strong enough, you can practice surfing. Mira D'ouro is a basic guesthouse with rooms' rates starting from US$70 per night. It is located not in a walking distance from Sete Ondas beach. But it is very close, if take a taxi.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Sao Tome international airport (TMS). Next hire a taxi. There is also public transport on the island, but the bus routes are not convenient for tourists in most cases.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Sao Tome and Principe is a dry season from June to September. Unfortunately, sea water is relatively cold during this period.
