Shaam beach

Shaam is a beach in UAE. It is located on the east coast of Persian Gulf - right near Oman border. There are no tourist amenities, nor trees ashore. However, entry into the water is smooth. While the view of surrounding mountains is scenic. You can still use the toilet either in the hospital (1 km) or at the gas station. There are also several restaurants along the road. Small marina can be found in the north end of the beach. It is not worth to walk there. Since the breakwater is full of trash, thus looking quite depressing. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

There are no hotels near Shaam Beach. However, overnight camping is still possible. You should not just make a fire.

Fly to Dubai international airport (DXB) or fly to Sharjah international airport (SHJ). Next get to your hotel by taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Ras al-Khaimah is a summer half of the year, when sea water is warm enough.
