Shanshui beach

Shanshui is a good beach in the south of Penghu island in Taiwan - not far from the airport. In winter it is a great surfer's spot, while summer time is fine for sunbathing and swimming. It can be crowded during the weekends, as it's one of the best beaches in Taiwan. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Taipei international airport (TPE). Next fly to Penghu airport (MZG), and get to the beach by taxi or by bus.

When to go [edit]

The best time for relaxing on Shanshui beach in Taiwan is a warm period from June to October. The rest of time sea water is too cold for swimming.
