Shelling beach

Shelling is a beach near the airport of Great Harbor Cay, Berry Islands, Bahamas. The beach is long, beautiful, with white sand and good swimming. Since the coast is faced towards the Atlantic Ocean, there is often a lot of algae. In this regard, the best spot is in the south end of the beach (near the Shark Creek Beach), which is partially protected from the open waters of the Atlantic. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Fly to Nassau international airport (NAS). Next make a domestic flight to Great Harbour Cay Airport (GHC).

When to go [edit]

The best time to travel to Berry Islands is a dry season in the winter half of the year. However, the summer is also good. Since sea water is much warmer, and there are no crowds of tourists.
