Shenzhou beach

Shenzhou is a beach in the east of Wanning district of Hainan island, China. There are many palms and trees ashore. While entry into the water is smooth, and there is almost no waves. There are a lot of people, but the place is still not so crowded like most of other beaches in Hainan. The beach is beautiful. Unfortunately, there is occasional garbage on the sand. So it is worth to choose beachfront resorts, since they make regular cleanups. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Near Shenzhou beach, there are several hotels with rooms' fares ranging from US$70 to US$400 per night. This is one of the rare places on the island with relatively budget accommodations.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Sanya international airport (SYX). Then hire a taxi. Or you may also fly to Haikou international airport (HAK). But it is located in the north of the island - far from most tourist attractions. You can move around the island by buses. But it can be hard to understand how local transport is operating.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in the south-west of China is April and October-November. The main problem is that the summer is a rainy season (from May to September), while it is too cold in winter (from December to March).
