Siesta Key is an island in the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. The beach was nominated many times as "The best beach in the USA". The real advantages are only fine white sand and huge free parking. As for the disadvantages, it's usually a lot of people, landscapes are mediocre and water often has an unpleasant smell. We recommend to check the quality of sea water before coming here. Fly to Tampa International Airport (TPA) or fly to Fort Myers International Airport (RSW). Next hire a taxi or take a bus. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge.
