Sofitel Heiva beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Sofitel Heiva is a beach of the abandoned Sofitel resort in the northeast of
Huahine island, French Polynesia. As for now, all bungalows were removed. Only the basement of water bungalows is still remained. It's beautiful ashore, but swimming on rocky bottom is very uncomfortable. However, it is possible to find occasional spots with sandy entry into the water. In the northeast, there are coral gardens with great snorkeling. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so it is worth to buy some local anti-mosquito remedy. Shore and seabed: stones, sand.
