South Sandbank beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
South Sandbank is a wild beach in the very south of
Bahrain. Depending on weather conditions, it also may be just a sandspit extending far into the sea. There is no real beach to speak of. However, this spot looks somewhat like famous Maldives sandbanks. So if you bring an umbrella and enough water, you'll have a good time in complete seclusion - quite like Robinson. Sea water is usually perfectly clear. So you can chill in shallow water. It is possible to get here by car or just walk under the sun from the Durrat VIP complex. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
