Spencer Beach is a beach in the northwest of Big Island of Hawaii. It is also known as
Spencer Beach Park. Thus it has all kinds of amenities - including shower and toilet. This is one of the best free beaches on the island. So it can be crowded during the weekends. It is beautiful with a lot of shaded trees. Swimming is comfortable even for children. Snorkeling depends on current weather conditions, but it is usually rather mediocre. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Camping in your own tent is possible on Spencer Beach. It is free of charge, but permit is required. A little further to the south - within a walking distance, there are also several hotels with rooms' fares starting from US$1000 per night.
