Cavallo Morto is a small wild beach in the cliffs, located to the east of Maiori, Italy. It is also known under the name of
Bellavaia, and is officially closed due to the danger of rockfall. Unlike most other similar beaches on the Amalfi Coast, the it's sunny from noon till evening. Shore and seabed: pebble, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Slightly to the west of Cavallo Morto, there are several hotels, as well as
Cannaverde VIP-camping (from US$100). This is probably one of the most expensive campsites in the world, but it's of a very high standard as well.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Naples international airport (NAP). Take a train to
Salerno station and next get by bus to the stop of
Maiori Cimitero and walk down to the sea. However, according to other sources, the coast is accessible by the sea only.

The best time for a beach holiday in Spiaggia Cavallo Morto is a warm season in the summer half of the year.
