Citara is a long beach in the west of
Ischia island, Italy. There are often strong waves, but you can always swim near the shore. Entry into the water is very comfortable, which attracts many families with children. There are a lot of cafes ashore, where you can eat right in the swimming suits. The bay is famous due to the thermal park of
Poseidon Garden. Shore and seabed: sand.

How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Naples international airport (NAP). Take a train to
Pozzuoli station and get by ferry to the port of
Forio. Next get to Spiaggia di Citara by taxi or by bus.

The best time for a beach holiday in Spiaggia di Citara is a warm period from July to September.
