Stone Town beach

Stone Town is the Old Town in Zanzibar island, Tanzania. It is hard to believe, but this is not only authentic historical buildings. It has also a real beach suitable for swimming! However, if you decide to spend here your entire vacation, it will be a very bad idea. Of course, Stone Town is great, but only for a tour about 2-3 hours. How to get there [edit]

Fly to Zanzibar international airport (ZNZ). Next hire a taxi.

At the current time, there are many direct flights to Zanzibar. So connections flight via Dar es Salaam makes sense only in case, if you plan a safari on the mainland.

When to go [edit]

Feel free to relax in Zanzibar any time of year - except for the pronounced rainy season in April.
