Sumbe beach

Sumbe is a small coastal town in Angola. There is a small beach with picturesque palms, we dream of. To the north, there is also a long sandspit suitable for evening promenade. The town itself is not very interesting, and not worth a visit. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotel Ritz Sumbe is a three star property with room's rates starting from US$90 per night. It has nothing common with the international chain of Ritz-Carlton. However, everything is pretty nice by the standards of Angola.

Fly to Luanda international airport (LAD). Next hire a taxi or get by bus.

The best time for a beach holiday in Sumbe is a warm season from November to April.
