Hotels [edit]

There is a large campsite near the beach, where you can sleep in your own tent. The nearby Esperanza town has several hotels.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to San Juan Airport (SJU). Next get to Fajardo ferry dock by taxi or by bus. Ride by ferry to Isabel Segunda port of Vieques island. Then take the shuttle bus taxi to the Sun Bay beach campsite.

When to go [edit]

Any time of year. Hurricanes sometimes happens from June to November, but there are no crowds of people like in the winter.

Useful information [edit]

The campsite has a small grocery store, which often does not work. You can walk for the food to the nearby Esperanza town, or ride to Isabel Segunda town.
