Sunshine beach

Sunshine is a beach located right in front of Mnemba islet - in the northeast of Zanzibar island, Tanzania. It is also known as Muyuni - Mnemba Transfer Point. There are just a few people here. As for the infrastructure, boats only are available - waiting to take you to Mnemba. Anyway the landscapes are pretty nice, and there is even a baobab tree somewhere nearby! Hotels [edit]

Sunshine Marine Lodge is a 4-star resort with rooms' rates starting from US$120 per night. Please note, that there is only a rocky coast near the hotel. A good sandy beach (Muyuni point) is located 1.5 km to the north. It can be reached by a free boat running once an hour.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Zanzibar international airport (ZNZ). Next hire a taxi.

At the current time, there are many direct flights to Zanzibar. So connections flight via Dar es Salaam makes sense only in case, if you plan a safari on the mainland.

When to go [edit]

Feel free to relax in Zanzibar any time of year - except for the pronounced rainy season in April.
